About Domelia
Domelia is the largest portal offering household services in Slovakia. Its goal is to support the shared economy system in neighborhoods. To create a community of people who help each other in households and be an alternative for those who want to earn extra money with their skills.
The Domelia community consists of:
- Helpers - private individuals who wish to make money and help the community with their household skills and work
- Households - families and individuals needing assistance with household, garden or family member care
- Businesses - institutions, companies, and entrepreneurs seeking helpers for their team and offering household services
Community members have access to various household services like cleaning, household care, animal or garden care, crafts, repairs, babysitting and senior care, tutoring, or health and beauty services within their account. Profiles and advertisements of all community members are verified immediately upon creation, and customer support is available every working day.
Currently, more than 3000 profiles are published on the portal, and a total of 50000 helpers have offered their skills. Their services have been used by 19400 households and businesses. On average, the portal receives 70,000 visitors monthly, and the blog is read by over 2,000 readers.
On the Slovak market, Domelia has been operating since November 2009 - www.domelia.sk, in the Czech market since March 2010 - www.domelie.cz, and in the Hungarian market since January 2018 - www.domelia.hu. Since February 2025, the Domelia brand is owned by Domelia, s. r. o..
